Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: May 5, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dots Presentations website (dotspresentations.com) and any services you engage us to provide. By using our website or working with us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website or our services.

Separate, more detailed engagement terms (a Statement of Work or contract) apply to paying clients. Those engagement terms take precedence over these general terms for the specific scope of work.

1. Who we are

Dots Presentations is a B2B presentation design agency providing pitch deck design, sales deck design, retainer-based design partnerships, and related creative services. Operating entities are listed in our Privacy Policy.

2. Using our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with how the site operates

  • Scrape, copy, or republish our content without permission

  • Use the site to send spam, malware, or harmful content

  • Impersonate Dots Presentations or any of our team members

3. Our services

We design presentations, pitch decks, sales decks, templates, and related materials. Specific deliverables, timelines, pricing, and revision terms are agreed in writing for each project (in a quote, Statement of Work, or retainer agreement).

Pricing on our website is indicative. Final quotes are confirmed after a brief or audit call. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time, but agreed quotes for active projects remain fixed.

4. Engaging us as a client

4.1 Quotes and acceptance

After a brief call, we send a written quote covering scope, deliverables, timeline, price, and payment terms. The engagement begins when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) and, where applicable, pay any required deposit.

4.2 Payment

Standard payment terms are:

  • Per-project work: 50% deposit to start, 50% on delivery, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Retainers: Monthly in advance. Invoices issued at the start of each retainer period.

  • Late payment: Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may incur a late fee. We may pause work on overdue accounts.

4.3 Revisions

Each engagement includes a defined number of revision rounds (specified in the project quote or retainer terms). Revisions beyond that scope are quoted separately.

4.4 Confidentiality

We sign mutual NDAs as standard. Anything you share with us during a project (briefs, files, strategies, financials, customer information) stays confidential. We expect the same in return for our processes, internal templates, and pricing structures.

4.5 Cancellation

Cancellation terms are specific to each engagement. As a general rule:

  • Per-project: Deposits are non-refundable once work has started. Cancelled projects are billed for work completed up to the cancellation date.

  • Retainers: 30 days written notice to cancel. Unused capacity in the final month is not refunded.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 Your content

You own the content you provide us (your text, your data, your brand assets, your existing materials). You grant us a license to use this content for the sole purpose of designing and delivering your project.

5.2 Our deliverables

Once you've paid in full for a project, you own the final deliverables (the designed slides, templates, or other materials we create for you). You can use them, edit them, and distribute them however you like for your business purposes.

5.3 What we keep

We retain ownership of:

  • Our underlying processes, methodologies (including ARC), templates, and design systems used to create your work

  • Source files, working drafts, and unused concepts that didn't make it into the final delivery

  • The right to display your finished work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing (some projects are confidential and we respect that)

5.4 Our website content

Everything on dotspresentations.com (text, images, layouts, logos, portfolio examples, branding) is owned by Dots Presentations or licensed to us. You can't copy, republish, or use our website content without written permission.

6. Third-party services

We use third-party tools to run our business and our website (analytics, advertising platforms, payment processors, project management tools, hosting). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for how third parties use information you provide directly to them.

Our website may link to third-party sites (case studies, partner sites, social media). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimers

We aim to keep our website accurate and up to date, but we don't make guarantees about:

  • The completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of information on the website

  • The website being available without interruption or free of errors

  • Outcomes from using our services (we design great work, but we can't guarantee that a pitch will close a round, a sales deck will hit a quota, or any specific business result)

Use of our website and services is at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dots Presentations is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or our services. This includes lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim related to a paid engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project that gave rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Dots Presentations harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the website, breach of these terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales for UK-facing contracts, or Egypt for direct work, depending on which entity is contracting. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the website or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For active client engagements, the terms in effect when the project started apply unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
